Chocolate Plunge Holiday Gift Cards The Chocolate Plunge gift card designs came together fairly easily after taking some time to give the treat illustrations a Christmas sprinle make-over: Once the treats had their makeover, it was just a matter of how to present them on a gift card. We have all seen Christmas graphic designs with gifts piled up in the back of a car, or a truck with a Christmas Tree on top. So, why not pack a car full of Chocolate Plunge treats! It’s been awhile since I’ve created a mural for Dirty Dough Cookies. When their new CEO came on at the end of last year, they decided to phase out custom murals for franchisees. However, some murals were grandfathered in, and some, like this one, had special approval. Mural Close-ups Left Side: Featuring Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch with the Chicago Skyline in the background. Right Side: Features the Arboretum Mall with the Chicago skyline in the background.

Turning Paper into Fabric Patterns Back in October of 2021, I designed some Halloween patterns for 12×12 printable scrapbooking paper called, “Spooks & Ghouls” I put the designs on Esty so the digital paper and embellishments could be purchased and printed. This year I decided to take the paper designs and turn them into repeatable fabric patterns. New Halloween Fabric Designs Some brand new designs and some refurbished designs have been turned into patterns for printing on fabric—I had so much fun! All my fabric patterns can be found and purchased on Spoonflower. Spiders and Skulls Ghosts and Witches Cats, […]

Chocolate Plunge Gift Card Designs There are such amazing photos of the Chocolate Plunge desserts, I decided to use the photos as the centerpiece for their Gift Cards. They wanted to start off with some basic sentiments that would work for multiple occasions (i.e. a “gift” could be for birthday, anniversary, baby shower, etc.). Mother’s Day Gift Cards Soon after these initial designs, Chocolate Plunge asked for some Mother’s Day gift card designs. Father’s Day Gift Cards Seasonal, specific gift card creations are always unique to the store and brand they are created for. Some rejected Father’s Day ideas that […]

    • Branded t-shirts

by admin on April 18, 2023 , No Comments

Life is Sweet This ended up being a mesh of the two different designs. LIFE IS SWEET on the front, horizontal logo on the sleeve, and circle logo on the back. Let’s Get Dirty This shirt was printed as designed, just the stack of cookies did not take up so much of the front surface. It’s What’s Inside that Counts Another amalgamation of designs for this one: An Unwanted Design The logo on the side of the shirt was one of my favorite designs but they decided not to go with it. Employee Uniforms The following shirts are designs created […]

    • Cookie Trailer Design

Dirty Dough Cookie Trailer, Take 2. This new design needed to have a blue background instead of an orange background, like the original. Here’s a look at the new, blue color: I love this photo because you can see the older, orange trailer in the background: My newest designs are pictured below. They wanted to go with a darker blue background and white print/illustrations. I don’t have photos of the final product, but here’s a look at what the newest designs look like: Hopefully I’ll get to update this post in the future with some photos of how this most […]

    • Banbury Cross Donuts Mural

by admin on February 13, 2023 , No Comments

Centerville, Utah I was approached by, Benj, the owner of Banbury Donuts in Salt Lake City, to design a mural for their new franchise opening in Centerville. Benj had previously seen a mural I designed for a Dirty Dough franchise opening in the Salt Lake area and wanted me to create something similar for Banbury Cross. This project excited me and I couldn’t wait to get started! As part of my process with any new mural, I usually sketch on my iPad and then put those sketches into a bigger design. Once a design is decided on, I will export […]

Outside of Cookie Boxes In April of 2022, Dirty Dough needed to rebrand their boxes from the old, orange color to their new “Dirty Dough Blue.” They wanted the boxes to remain pretty basic, and asked only for their tag lines, social media, and heating instructions to be included. Following are the samples that I gave them: Inside of Cookie Boxes When Dirty Dough came out with their catering cookies, they decided that they wanted some branding on the inside of the boxes as well. These are the mock-ups I gave them: Because Dirty Dough’s cookies are “stuffed” in the […]
