Introducing the other half of the Spooks & Ghouls Collection, Spooks & Ghouls: Classic.
There’s nothing that says Halloween like the classic orange and black combo. Add in some spooky spiders and flying bats and some real Halloween magic begins to unfold.
The Spooks & Ghouls: Classic Collection features an eclectic mix of whimsical, classy, and vintage elements which enable any paper crafter to find exactly what they need to create wonderfully wicked Halloween crafts.
One of my favorite designs came about using Potato Stamping. I cut a potato in half, then cut shapes into the clean edge. Afterward, I painted the potato stamp with ink and stamped it onto paper.
When my stamps were dry, I scanned them into Adobe Photoshop and started piecing them together. This is how my spiders were created. I love the way they turned out and used them in my Spider Serenade, and Spider Dance patterns.
Just like the Vintage Collection, I created some cards for the Classic Collection as well. These are a bit more modern, but they still give a nod to days gone by.
In the following layout, I used the Spider Serenade, Vampire Bow Tie, and Classic Cards Paper. It was so much fun! Frighteningly Fantastic!
To make this greeting card, I simply used one of the 4 x 6-inch cards from the Classic Card paper design.
The Bats in Flight pattern was one of the first designs I created while studying how to make drop patterns. Cut-out black bats are most definitely a classic Halloween decoration. I created the following layout using the digital versions of my patterns.
Here is another spider pattern I created with my ‘Potato Stamp Spider’:
Last, I’m sharing a quick, easy Halloween card that I created using my Spider Dance paper.
