The best photography of my semester
I’ve learned a lot this semester and am grateful for the skills I have developed. Not only have a honed in on the type of photography that I love, landscape and fine art photography, but I’ve also learned valuable editing and SEO skills.
It has been an incredible experience to photograph the change of season from autumn to winter. Idaho is so beautiful and my love for this state has grown during this semester.
It has been amazing to learn additional photoshop editing skills. I really like to boost the whites in my photos, while lifting the shadows and the blacks to bring out tiny details in photos. I also tend to use the sharpening too a lot.
I love taking detailed shots, whether really close up or taking in a beautiful landscape scene.
I’ve learned some great ways to market my photography skills and have decided to start selling prints here on my website and at Wolfe Lighting in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
I feel that I’ve learned so much this semester during Comm 316, not only from my teacher, Caryn Esplin, and her right-hand man, Douglas Phan, but also from all of my fellow students taking Comm 316. I will forever be grateful for this amazing experience.

Your landscapes are gorgeous. My favorite has to be the one of the cabin with the misty mountains in the back. I would hang that on my wall. Check out my portfolio post at https://mboyack.com/portfolio-work-from-comm-316/.
