Fine Art Landscape Print

Recently I used McKenna Pro to order an 18 x 24 inch print of a favorite fine art photo I captured in early October.
I named this print, “Arrival” because I took it on the first day of Autumn (the Autumn Arrival). This scene is also what I see when I arrive at my parent’s home in Victor, Idaho.
Right now my framed print is on display in the Jacob Spori building at BYU-Idaho. Here’s a little selfie of me standing in front it:
Below is the original shot, before I edited it. I used photoshop to remove some of the houses in the background, then I brightened the photo up pretty significantly. I added warmth, lowered the shadows and blacks, then sharpened the foreground and the old barn to bring out the detail.
Here’s another look at the edited version for a before/after comparison:
If you’re interested in purchasing this print, I have it listed on my online store. I will also be adding framing options in the near future.
Christie, your print looks so good! The colors are beautiful!

Christie!! OMG! I love the contrast of the barn and the photo! I reminds me of an old western movie. Great work! GO checkout my fine art print post. https://flowerbirdcreative.com/crystalized-in-the-dark-fine-art-print/

Christie, you did an incredible job with your Fine Art print. It looks even better printed. I love the contrast between the autumn grass and the mountains– the haze also adds so much to this photo.
